Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Transport, Media & Publishing and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fitaihi Holding Group (SE:4180), which rose 7.47% or 1.98 points to trade at 28.50 at the close. Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) added 6.42% or 1.90 points to end at 31.50 and Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320) was up 3.60% or 1.07 points to 30.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210), which lost 2.88% or 6.95 points to trade at 234.25 in late trade. SABB Takaful (SE:8080) declined 2.73% or 1.22 points to end at 43.40 and The National Shipping Co. (SE:4030) shed 2.62% or 1.43 points to 53.25.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 84 to 81 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.50% or 0.30 to $59.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.08% or 0.06 to hit $65.31 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1205.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.28% to 4.1197, while USD/SAR fell 0.06% to 3.7494.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.17% at 96.41.
