Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Energy & Utilities and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200), which rose 7.57% or 2.40 points to trade at 34.10 at the close. Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) added 5.73% or 0.75 points to end at 13.85 and Saudi Int Petrochemical Co (SE:2310) was up 5.51% or 0.70 points to 13.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330), which lost 3.72% or 0.40 points to trade at 10.35 in late trade. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) declined 2.63% or 0.100 points to end at 3.700 and Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) shed 2.56% or 0.15 points to 5.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 94 to 56 and 19 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.53% or 0.73 to $46.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.40% or 0.70 to hit $49.45 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.21% or 2.85 to trade at $1323.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.25% to 4.1890, while USD/SAR fell 0.04% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.27% at 95.74.
