Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Agriculture & Food and Financial Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.60%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200), which rose 2.72% or 0.21 points to trade at 7.92 at the close. The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) added 2.50% or 0.36 points to end at 14.76 and Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) was up 2.50% or 1.00 points to 41.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030), which lost 6.65% or 0.84 points to trade at 11.80 in late trade. Samba Financial Group (SE:1090) declined 3.75% or 1.30 points to end at 33.40 and Saudi Telecom (SE:7010) shed 3.75% or 4.00 points to 102.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 151 to 28 and 11 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.02% or 0.01 to $57.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.67% or 0.43 to hit $64.02 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.76% or 10.65 to trade at $1410.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 4.2691, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 95.665.
