Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Financial Services and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030), which rose 2.22% or 0.32 points to trade at 14.72 at the close. Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) added 2.24% or 0.60 points to end at 27.40 and Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) was up 1.93% or 0.40 points to 21.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030), which lost 5.54% or 0.70 points to trade at 11.94 in late trade. Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) declined 3.08% or 0.48 points to end at 15.10 and Food Products Co. (SE:2100) shed 2.88% or 0.36 points to 12.16.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 125 to 26 and 23 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.91% or 0.52 to $57.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.37% or 0.24 to hit $64.69 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 7.65 to trade at $1407.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.33% to 4.2730, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 95.583.
