Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Agriculture & Food and Financial Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.82% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080), which rose 6.00% or 1.55 points to trade at 27.40 at the close. Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260) added 5.40% or 0.64 points to end at 12.50 and Umm Al-Qura (SE:3005) was up 3.94% or 0.56 points to 14.76 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Savola Group (SE:2050), which lost 5.47% or 1.80 points to trade at 31.10 in late trade. Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) declined 4.38% or 1.80 points to end at 39.30 and Northern Region Cement Co (SE:3004) shed 4.19% or 0.40 points to 9.15.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 111 to 72 and 7 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.41% or 1.50 to $60.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.48% or 1.77 to hit $69.47 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 0.75 to trade at $1283.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.11% to 4.1947, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 97.398.
