Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Media & Publishing and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.63%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Miahona Holding SCJSC (TADAWUL:2084), which rose 8.92% or 2.04 points to trade at 24.90 at the close. Rasan Information Technology (TADAWUL:8313) added 5.91% or 3.40 points to end at 60.90 and Gulf Insurance Group (TADAWUL:8250) was up 5.42% or 1.60 points to 31.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ADES Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2382), which lost 4.60% or 0.98 points to trade at 20.32 in late trade. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (TADAWUL:4210) declined 3.53% or 7.60 points to end at 207.40 and International Company for Water and Power Projects (TADAWUL:2082) shed 3.26% or 11.60 points to 344.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 147 to 146 and 19 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.45% or 0.36 to $81.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.39% or 0.33 to hit $84.55 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 3.50 to trade at $2,327.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.28% to 4.01, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 105.61.
