Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180), which rose 9.96% or 1.92 points to trade at 21.20 at the close. Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) added 8.33% or 0.01 points to end at 0.13 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (TADAWUL:8150) was up 5.83% or 1.08 points to 19.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Leejam Sports Company SJSC (TADAWUL:1830), which lost 9.96% or 23.00 points to trade at 208.00 in late trade. Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1213) declined 4.04% or 3.20 points to end at 76.10 and Al Taiseer Group TALCO Industrial Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:4143) shed 4.03% or 2.70 points to 64.30.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 147 to 141 and 26 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.79% or 0.60 to $75.21 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.70% or 0.55 to hit $78.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 7.50 to trade at $2,433.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.02% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 104.49.
