Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Insurance, Agriculture & Food and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.46%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which rose 3.45% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.30 at the close. Umm Al-Qura (TADAWUL:3005) added 2.42% or 0.40 points to end at 16.94 and Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (TADAWUL:2070) was up 2.24% or 0.70 points to 31.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (TADAWUL:1321), which lost 4.49% or 7.40 points to trade at 157.40 in late trade. Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8210) declined 3.51% or 7.40 points to end at 203.60 and Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071) shed 3.09% or 5.60 points to 175.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 193 to 102 and 19 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.62% or 1.16 to $70.58 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.55% or 1.18 to hit $74.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 3.20 to trade at $2,756.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.23% to 4.05, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 104.33.
