Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Transport and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (TADAWUL:6050), which rose 9.92% or 2.20 points to trade at 24.38 at the close. Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) added 7.69% or 0.01 points to end at 0.14 and Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320) was up 5.92% or 4.30 points to 76.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SNB Capital Funds of REITs Fund Unit (TADAWUL:4338), which lost 3.33% or 0.27 points to trade at 7.85 in late trade. Knowledge Economic City (TADAWUL:4310) declined 3.27% or 0.52 points to end at 15.38 and Americana Restaurants (TADAWUL:6015) shed 3.11% or 0.09 points to 2.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 223 to 70 and 23 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.77% or 0.54 to $69.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.76% or 0.56 to hit $73.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 3.65 to trade at $2,519.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.09% to 4.15, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 101.67.
