Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Agriculture & Food and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.40%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050), which rose 3.89% or 2.00 points to trade at 53.40 at the close. Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010) added 3.02% or 0.80 points to end at 27.30 and Yanbu Cement Co. (SE:3060) was up 2.98% or 0.95 points to 32.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201), which lost 3.34% or 0.27 points to trade at 7.81 in late trade. Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) declined 2.65% or 0.62 points to end at 22.82 and Almarai Company (SE:2280) shed 2.46% or 1.30 points to 51.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 113 to 63 and 15 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.68% or 0.39 to $57.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.85% or 1.17 to hit $64.47 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.36% or 19.30 to trade at $1401.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.51% to 4.2099, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.52% at 96.835.
