Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Retail and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were MBC Group CJSC (TADAWUL:4072), which rose 5.05% or 2.00 points to trade at 41.60 at the close. AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (TADAWUL:2320) added 4.27% or 1.70 points to end at 41.50 and CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) was up 4.25% or 1.10 points to 27.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which lost 7.69% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.12 in late trade. Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (TADAWUL:2360) declined 6.59% or 2.80 points to end at 39.70 and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (TADAWUL:1214) shed 6.34% or 1.85 points to 27.35.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 191 to 96 and 18 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.33% or 1.02 to $77.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.08% or 0.86 to hit $80.52 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 10.20 to trade at $2,483.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.05% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 103.08.
