Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Transport and Media & Publishing sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240), which rose 9.96% or 1.00 points to trade at 11.04 at the close. Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:4140) added 9.88% or 0.25 points to end at 2.78 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) was up 7.14% or 0.01 points to 0.15 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300), which lost 4.92% or 1.60 points to trade at 30.90 in late trade. Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230) declined 4.53% or 2.05 points to end at 43.25 and Astra Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1212) shed 3.87% or 6.40 points to 159.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 192 to 101 and 19 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.84% or 0.58 to $69.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.83% or 0.60 to hit $73.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.02% or 25.70 to trade at $2,551.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.22% to 4.17, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 101.08.
