Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Agriculture & Food and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which rose 10.00% or 0.03 points to trade at 0.33 at the close. Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200) added 7.05% or 2.85 points to end at 43.30 and Saudi Chemical Company (TADAWUL:2230) was up 5.46% or 0.53 points to 10.24 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110), which lost 4.02% or 4.10 points to trade at 97.90 in late trade. CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) declined 3.13% or 1.60 points to end at 49.50 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1213) shed 2.64% or 2.50 points to 92.30.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 161 to 154 and 21 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.11% or 1.45 to $70.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.94% or 1.41 to hit $74.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.63% or 16.60 to trade at $2,668.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.06% to 3.95, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 106.55.
