Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Insurance, Energy & Utilities and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142), which rose 6.95% or 7.60 points to trade at 117.00 at the close. Arabian Cement Co (TADAWUL:3010) added 4.51% or 1.10 points to end at 25.50 and Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (TADAWUL:7200) was up 4.38% or 7.80 points to 185.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300), which lost 9.96% or 2.66 points to trade at 24.04 in late trade. Al Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co SJSC (TADAWUL:8170) declined 9.34% or 1.90 points to end at 18.44 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) shed 5.02% or 0.74 points to 14.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 171 to 127 and 29 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.77% or 0.55 to $72.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.69% or 0.52 to hit $75.60 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.85 to trade at $2,748.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.23% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 103.67.
