Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Insurance, Energy & Utilities and Cement sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Middle East Paper Co (SE:1202), which rose 6.87% or 1.51 points to trade at 23.50 at the close. Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) added 5.25% or 3.89 points to end at 78.00 and Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) was up 4.51% or 6.00 points to 139.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020), which lost 4.48% or 0.86 points to trade at 18.32 in late trade. Taleem REIT Fund (SE:4333) declined 3.80% or 0.43 points to end at 10.90 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) shed 3.67% or 0.220 points to 5.780.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 89 to 88 and 9 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.69% or 0.41 to $58.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.40% or 0.25 to hit $62.34 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.50 to trade at $1328.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.35% to 4.6262, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7509.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 89.71.
