Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Energy & Utilities and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Retal Urban Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4322), which rose 9.64% or 1.38 points to trade at 15.70 at the close. Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) added 7.14% or 0.02 points to end at 0.30 and Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203) was up 4.64% or 49.80 points to 1,122.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Eastern Province Cement Co. (TADAWUL:3080), which lost 6.79% or 2.35 points to trade at 32.25 in late trade. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (TADAWUL:4210) declined 4.18% or 12.20 points to end at 279.80 and Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200) shed 4.03% or 5.20 points to 123.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 198 to 106 and 17 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.82% or 1.96 to $71.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.63% or 1.92 to hit $75.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 2.00 to trade at $2,751.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.66% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.58% at 103.60.
