Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Retail and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Kingdom Holding Company (TADAWUL:4280), which rose 8.52% or 0.67 points to trade at 8.53 at the close. The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8030) added 6.71% or 1.95 points to end at 31.00 and Amlak Intl for Real Estate Finance (TADAWUL:1182) was up 5.36% or 0.56 points to 11.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071), which lost 3.14% or 7.40 points to trade at 228.60 in late trade. Dr Soliman Abdel Kader Fakeeh (TADAWUL:4017) declined 3.04% or 1.90 points to end at 60.70 and Modern Mills Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2284) shed 2.62% or 1.40 points to 52.10.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 145 to 133 and 35 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.00% or 0.77 to $77.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.78% or 0.63 to hit $81.64 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 11.80 to trade at $2,419.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.04% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 104.00.
