Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Insurance, Transport and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 2.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170), which rose 10.44% or 2.60 points to trade at 27.50 at the close. National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) added 10.16% or 2.60 points to end at 28.20 and Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030) was up 9.47% or 2.50 points to 28.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Arabia Fertilizers Co. (SE:2020), which lost 0.72% or 0.50 points to trade at 68.50 in late trade. Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to end at 25.70 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) 0.00% or 0.000 points to 3.150.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 167 to 1 and 1 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.90% or 0.41 to $45.40 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.64% or 0.30 to hit $46.65 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1224.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.21% to 4.0132, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.22% at 100.42.
