Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Hotels & Tourism and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Anb Insurance (SE:8011), which rose 9.40% or 1.65 points to trade at 19.20 at the close. Saudi Marke (SE:4006) added 7.42% or 2.10 points to end at 30.40 and Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) was up 6.87% or 1.45 points to 22.55 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001), which lost 2.88% or 2.50 points to trade at 84.25 in late trade. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) declined 1.39% or 0.050 points to end at 3.550 and Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:1210) shed 1.23% or 0.40 points to 32.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 153 to 9 and 7 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.46% or 1.06 to $44.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.60% or 1.18 to hit $46.63 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.85% or 11.15 to trade at $1328.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.36% to 4.1848, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.22% at 95.87.
