Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Transport, Insurance and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100), which rose 9.62% or 2.30 points to trade at 26.20 at the close. Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) added 5.76% or 1.89 points to end at 34.70 and SABB Takaful (SE:8080) was up 5.72% or 2.49 points to 46.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170), which lost 2.19% or 0.91 points to trade at 40.60 in late trade. Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) declined 2.03% or 0.80 points to end at 38.60 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) shed 2.00% or 0.42 points to 20.55.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 90 to 75 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.36% or 0.22 to $60.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.69% or 0.46 to hit $65.11 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.16% or 1.90 to trade at $1191.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.26% to 4.1124, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 97.12.
