Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Retail and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300), which rose 9.82% or 6.75 points to trade at 75.50 at the close. Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100) added 7.26% or 1.35 points to end at 19.95 and ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240) was up 7.26% or 4.25 points to 62.75 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810), which lost 4.59% or 3.75 points to trade at 78.00 in late trade. Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370) declined 3.32% or 0.35 points to end at 10.20 and The Saudi British Bank (SE:1060) shed 2.17% or 0.60 points to 27.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 94 to 72 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.50% or 0.23 to $46.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.13% or 0.56 to hit $49.80 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.55% or 6.20 to trade at $1143.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.27% to 4.2065, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.24% at 95.99.
