Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Building & Construction and Financial Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which rose 9.99% or 1.07 points to trade at 11.78 at the close. Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) added 9.99% or 2.04 points to end at 22.46 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) was up 9.97% or 1.84 points to 20.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320), which lost 8.03% or 2.34 points to trade at 26.80 in late trade. Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) declined 4.97% or 5.10 points to end at 97.50 and Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100) shed 4.79% or 0.90 points to 17.90.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 138 to 43 and 2 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.18% or 0.84 to $70.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.62% or 0.48 to hit $76.99 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 4.10 to trade at $1318.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.23% to 4.4789, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 92.44.
