Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Cement and Financial Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:4020), which rose 6.18% or 0.84 points to trade at 14.44 at the close. Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210) added 5.01% or 1.45 points to end at 30.40 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) was up 3.18% or 0.66 points to 21.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which lost 3.90% or 0.84 points to trade at 20.68 in late trade. United Electronics Company (SE:4003) declined 3.87% or 2.30 points to end at 57.10 and AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331) shed 2.70% or 0.40 points to 14.40.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 104 to 65 and 15 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.12% or 0.09 to $73.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.80% or 0.62 to hit $77.73 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 8.40 to trade at $1264.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.31% to 4.4168, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 93.53.
