Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Petrochemicals and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.95%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which rose 9.94% or 1.94 points to trade at 21.46 at the close. Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) added 9.92% or 3.80 points to end at 42.10 and Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) was up 9.90% or 1.52 points to 16.88 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kingdom Holding Company (SE:4280), which lost 2.35% or 0.19 points to trade at 7.90 in late trade. Bawan (SE:1302) declined 1.84% or 0.26 points to end at 13.90 and Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030) shed 1.25% or 0.08 points to 6.32.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 153 to 27 and 8 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.15% or 0.10 to $66.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.09% or 0.07 to hit $75.84 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 6.10 to trade at $1216.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.24% to 4.2454, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 96.93.
