Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Multi Investment, Financial Services and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.67%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Qassim Agriculture Co. (SE:6020), which rose 9.49% or 1.04 points to trade at 12.00 at the close. Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) added 3.76% or 2.50 points to end at 69.00 and Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040) was up 3.23% or 0.34 points to 10.88 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080), which lost 5.83% or 1.55 points to trade at 25.05 in late trade. Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) declined 3.44% or 0.80 points to end at 22.44 and The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010) shed 2.60% or 1.60 points to 60.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 105 to 72 and 15 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.44% or 1.28 to $53.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 2.31% or 1.42 to hit $62.93 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 6.15 to trade at $1318.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.19% to 4.2364, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 96.713.
