Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Agriculture & Food and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.63%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Taiseer Group TALCO Industrial Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:4143), which rose 9.97% or 4.75 points to trade at 52.40 at the close. Rasan Information Technology (TADAWUL:8313) added 8.70% or 5.30 points to end at 66.20 and Saudi Ceramic Co. (TADAWUL:2040) was up 6.46% or 1.80 points to 29.65 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which lost 7.69% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.12 in late trade. Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (TADAWUL:4290) declined 4.02% or 1.30 points to end at 31.05 and Anaam International Holding Group (TADAWUL:4061) shed 3.10% or 0.04 points to 1.25.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 149 to 140 and 19 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.72% or 0.58 to $81.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.69% or 0.58 to hit $85.05 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.84% or 19.50 to trade at $2,332.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.29% to 4.02, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 105.46.
