Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Multi Investment and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.59%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Riyad REIT (SE:4330), which rose 3.90% or 0.30 points to trade at 8.00 at the close. Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110) added 3.37% or 0.60 points to end at 18.38 and Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) was up 3.18% or 0.31 points to 10.06 in late trade.
Biggest losers included National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002), which lost 2.03% or 0.50 points to trade at 24.12 in late trade. Saudi Arabia Fertilizers Co. (SE:2020) declined 1.64% or 1.40 points to end at 83.90 and Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) shed 1.37% or 0.24 points to 17.22.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 149 to 32 and 6 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.40% or 0.23 to $58.13 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.50% or 0.32 to hit $64.50 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.36% or 19.35 to trade at $1437.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.04% to 4.2721, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 95.498.
