Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Retail, Financial Services and Cement sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.55%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190), which rose 6.45% or 0.86 points to trade at 14.20 at the close. Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) added 4.22% or 1.35 points to end at 33.35 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) was up 3.96% or 0.82 points to 21.52 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213), which lost 4.92% or 0.72 points to trade at 13.92 in late trade. Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030) declined 3.39% or 1.55 points to end at 44.15 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) shed 3.35% or 0.70 points to 20.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 102 to 68 and 15 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.33% or 0.97 to $73.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.34% or 0.26 to hit $77.13 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 2.90 to trade at $1255.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.43% to 4.4032, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 93.76.
