Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Petrochemicals and Telecoms & IT sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.54%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300), which rose 7.85% or 0.75 points to trade at 10.30 at the close. Saudi Int Petrochemical Co (SE:2310) added 5.58% or 1.20 points to end at 22.70 and Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (SE:2380) was up 5.56% or 1.00 points to 19.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060), which lost 4.41% or 0.87 points to trade at 18.80 in late trade. Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061) declined 3.69% or 0.40 points to end at 10.44 and Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) shed 3.21% or 0.78 points to 23.52.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 98 to 71 and 20 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.01% or 0.64 to $62.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.57% or 0.41 to hit $71.77 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.25 to trade at $1273.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.07% to 4.1870, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 97.885.
