Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financial Services, Insurance and Cement sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040), which rose 5.80% or 2.15 points to trade at 39.20 at the close. ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240) added 2.55% or 1.20 points to end at 48.25 and Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260) was up 2.26% or 0.40 points to 18.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which lost 6.25% or 2.85 points to trade at 42.75 in late trade. Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) declined 3.65% or 1.15 points to end at 30.35 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) shed 2.95% or 2.00 points to 65.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 83 to 76 and 18 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.25% or 0.12 to $47.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.46% or 0.24 to hit $51.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 4.14 to trade at $1292.56 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.45% to 4.4112, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 93.37.
