Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Multi Investment, Insurance and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Taleem REIT Fund (SE:4333), which rose 9.87% or 1.40 points to trade at 15.58 at the close. The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) added 9.82% or 1.18 points to end at 13.20 and AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331) was up 9.64% or 1.84 points to 20.92 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Yanbu Cement Co. (SE:3060), which lost 3.06% or 0.90 points to trade at 28.50 in late trade. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) declined 3.03% or 2.00 points to end at 64.00 and Tabuk Cement Co. (SE:3090) shed 2.03% or 0.22 points to 10.60.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 117 to 51 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.40% or 0.19 to $47.74 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.51% or 0.26 to hit $51.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.32 to trade at $1274.38 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.34% to 4.3854, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 93.99.
