Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Real Estate Development and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210), which rose 7.82% or 2.05 points to trade at 28.25 at the close. SABB Takaful (SE:8080) added 5.47% or 1.10 points to end at 21.20 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) was up 5.29% or 4.40 points to 87.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190), which lost 21.73% or 3.36 points to trade at 12.10 in late trade. Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) declined 3.81% or 2.20 points to end at 55.50 and Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100) shed 1.76% or 0.26 points to 14.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.35% or 0.23 to $65.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.18% or 0.87 to hit $74.31 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.30 to trade at $1282.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.11% to 4.3488, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 94.53.
