Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Insurance, Retail and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Eastern Province Cement Co. (TADAWUL:3080), which rose 10.00% or 3.40 points to trade at 37.40 at the close. Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (TADAWUL:4001) added 8.51% or 0.98 points to end at 12.50 and East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (TADAWUL:1321) was up 6.00% or 9.40 points to 166.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which lost 9.38% or 0.03 points to trade at 0.29 in late trade. Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:6014) declined 2.55% or 2.10 points to end at 80.10 and Almarai Company (TADAWUL:2280) shed 2.55% or 1.50 points to 57.30.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 173 to 120 and 20 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.47% or 0.33 to $70.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.40% or 0.30 to hit $74.55 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 18.00 to trade at $2,696.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.06% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 103.13.
