Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Agriculture & Food and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8230), which rose 8.96% or 14.80 points to trade at 180.00 at the close. Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8210) added 6.97% or 16.60 points to end at 254.80 and Sustained Infrastructure Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2190) was up 5.49% or 1.95 points to 37.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ADES Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2382), which lost 2.83% or 0.62 points to trade at 21.30 in late trade. Miahona Holding SCJSC (TADAWUL:2084) declined 2.56% or 0.60 points to end at 22.86 and The Qassim Cement Co (TADAWUL:3040) shed 2.40% or 1.40 points to 57.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 202 to 80 and 20 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.47% or 0.38 to $81.25 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.41% or 0.35 to hit $84.80 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 6.10 to trade at $2,338.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.19% to 4.02, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 105.34.
