Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Media & Publishing and Retail sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.25% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (TADAWUL:7201), which rose 9.91% or 0.66 points to trade at 7.32 at the close. Batic Investments and Logistics Co (TADAWUL:4110) added 8.47% or 0.30 points to end at 3.84 and Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) was up 6.29% or 2.90 points to 49.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AlJazira Mawten REIT (TADAWUL:4331), which lost 3.17% or 0.58 points to trade at 17.72 in late trade. Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230) declined 3.00% or 2.10 points to end at 68.00 and Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:2300) shed 2.21% or 1.50 points to 66.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 158 to 123 and 27 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.38% or 1.66 to $68.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.17% or 1.58 to hit $71.32 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 14.30 to trade at $2,699.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.06% to 4.18, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 100.44.
