Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Agriculture & Food and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which rose 4.11% or 0.46 points to trade at 11.66 at the close. National Industrialization Co (SE:2060) added 3.64% or 0.58 points to end at 16.50 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) was up 3.36% or 0.40 points to 12.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330), which lost 9.99% or 0.70 points to trade at 6.31 in late trade. Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110) declined 5.07% or 2.40 points to end at 44.90 and Qassim Agriculture Co. (SE:6020) shed 5.00% or 0.60 points to 11.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 105 to 73 and 15 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.70% or 0.37 to $53.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.96% or 0.60 to hit $63.02 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.75 to trade at $1312.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.16% to 4.2398, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 96.640.
