Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Retail, Telecoms & IT and Financial Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290), which rose 8.35% or 1.93 points to trade at 25.05 at the close. Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002) added 2.42% or 4.00 points to end at 169.00 and The Saudi British Bank (SE:1060) was up 2.35% or 0.67 points to 29.15 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300), which lost 2.97% or 0.27 points to trade at 8.83 in late trade. United Wire Factories Company (SE:1301) declined 2.07% or 0.34 points to end at 16.06 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) shed 2.04% or 0.40 points to 19.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 107 to 67 and 10 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.42% or 0.27 to $63.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.41% or 0.28 to hit $69.31 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.80 to trade at $1335.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.10% to 4.5938, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 90.23.
