Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Transport, Telecoms & IT and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.07% to hit a new 52-week high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270), which rose 7.88% or 2.30 points to trade at 31.50 at the close. National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) added 6.48% or 2.20 points to end at 36.15 and United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260) was up 4.78% or 1.50 points to 32.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250), which lost 4.20% or 1.00 points to trade at 22.80 in late trade. Savola Group (SE:2050) declined 3.77% or 1.50 points to end at 38.30 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) shed 3.22% or 0.58 points to 17.42.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 87 to 83 and 15 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.11% or 0.07 to $65.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.38% or 0.29 to hit $76.50 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.30 to trade at $1301.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.46% to 4.3932, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 93.81.
