Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Insurance and Financial Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010), which rose 4.89% or 3.34 points to trade at 71.70 at the close. Middle East Paper Co (SE:1202) added 4.21% or 1.02 points to end at 25.25 and ALABDULLATIF CO. (SE:2340) was up 3.89% or 0.50 points to 13.36 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which lost 9.91% or 1.34 points to trade at 12.18 in late trade. Food Products Co. (SE:2100) declined 4.60% or 0.72 points to end at 14.94 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) shed 4.16% or 0.59 points to 13.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 119 to 63 and 5 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.25% or 0.87 to $70.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.35% or 1.01 to hit $75.88 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.20 to trade at $1313.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.37% to 4.4699, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 92.67.
