Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which rose 1.59% or 1000.0 points to trade at 64000.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 1.09% or 50.0 points to end at 4620.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 1.07% or 160.0 points to 15060.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 2.41% or 14.0 points to trade at 566.0 in late trade. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) declined 2.06% or 720.0 points to end at 34160.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) shed 1.82% or 600.0 points to 32300.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 12 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 1.93% or 2.53 to $133.70 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 1.65% or 31.00 to hit $1912.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.93% or 11.36 to trade at $1228.66 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.84% to 3019.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.04% to 947.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.69% at 94.90.
