Investing.com – Poland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Developers and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 lost 1.28% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the WIG30 were Cyfrowy Polsat SA (WA:CPS), which rose 3.75% or 0.46 points to trade at 12.74 at the close. Asseco Poland SA (WA:ACPP) added 2.46% or 2.20 points to end at 91.65 and CD PROJEKT SA (WA:CDR) was up 1.41% or 2.20 points to 158.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included CCC SA (WA:CCCP), which lost 5.24% or 9.40 points to trade at 170.10 in late trade. Eurocash SA (WA:EUR) declined 5.00% or 0.46 points to end at 8.74 and LPP SA (WA:LPPP) shed 4.05% or 640.00 points to 15,180.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 315 to 185 and 102 ended unchanged on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.40% or 1.68 to $71.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.15% or 1.60 to hit $75.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 15.70 to trade at $2,754.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was unchanged 0.06% to 4.32, while USD/PLN unchanged 0.11% to 4.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 103.85.
