Investing.com – Poland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Developers, Telecoms and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 declined 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the WIG30 were Kernel Holding SA (WA:KER), which rose 4.98% or 2.29 points to trade at 48.29 at the close. Eurocash SA (WA:EUR) added 2.17% or 0.78 points to end at 36.80 and Jastrzebska Spotka Weglowa SA (WA:JSW) was up 2.01% or 2.00 points to 101.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Globe Trade Centre SA (WA:GTCP), which lost 4.09% or 0.40 points to trade at 9.37 in late trade. Asseco Poland SA (WA:ACPP) declined 1.20% or 0.55 points to end at 45.34 and Tauron Polska Energia SA (WA:TPE) shed 1.15% or 0.040 points to 3.440.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 293 to 196 and 169 ended unchanged on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.04% or 0.02 to $51.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.07% or 0.04 to hit $57.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 6.71 to trade at $1283.29 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was down 0.16% to 4.2286, while USD/PLN rose 0.42% to 3.5885.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.55% at 93.51.
