Investing.com – Peru equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the S&P Lima Juniors, Mining and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General fell 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Andino Investment Holding SAA (LM:AIH), which rose 4.04% or 0.040 points to trade at 1.030 at the close. Trevali Mining (LM:TV) added 3.70% or 0.020 points to end at 0.560 and Casa Grande (LM:CSG) was up 2.56% or 0.100 points to 4.000 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Empresa Agroindustrial Pomalca (LM:POM), which lost 11.00% or 0.011 points to trade at 0.089 in late trade. Panoro (LM:PML) declined 6.52% or 0.015 points to end at 0.215 and Nexa Resources Peru SAA (LM:NXA) shed 2.13% or 0.080 points to 3.670.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 12 and 10 ended unchanged on the Lima Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.72% or 0.51 to $71.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.30% or 0.24 to hit $80.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 6.00 to trade at $1221.60 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was up 0.21% to 3.3345, while EUR/PEN fell 0.09% to 3.8498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 94.94.
