What Happened: Artist Benjamin Benichou, who uses generative AI in his work, will showcase match posters of PSG in seven matches of the current Ligue 1 soccer league season.
While the deal value remains undisclosed, Crypto.com will pay a majority portion of the sponsorship fee using the cryptocurrency token CRO.
Benichou's series consists of 1,970 AI-generated designs, of which only seven have been selected for publication as NFT.
The NFTs will be distributed in the form of an airdrop to eligible crypto.com accounts.

The NFTs are not only a digital keepsake for fans but also the potential for tangible artwork and exclusive experiences.
The collaboration with Benichou has allowed PSG "to better understand this new tool, which opens up endless creative possibilities," PSG chief brand officer Fabien Allègre stated. "By continuing to explore new frontiers, Paris Saint-Germain strives to redefine the future of sports, opening unexplored horizons for new generations of fans.”
Crypto.com and PSG's relationship dates to a sponsorship agreement signed in 2021 wherein the former will pay around $30 million to the team across three years, as reported by Sports Business Journal. Crypto.com has also signed two major deals with Formula One and the Ultimate Fighting Championship over the summer worth $2575 million together.
Spain’s La Liga recently partnered with Sorare to offer digital cards to fans.
