Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 2.78%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Telenor ASA (OL:TEL), which rose 0.85% or 1.10 points to trade at 131.10 at the close. Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) fell 0.38% or 0.35 points to end at 90.85 and Mowi ASA (OL:MOWI) was down 1.12% or 2.05 points to 181.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD), which lost 9.28% or 13.10 points to trade at 128.05 in late trade. Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) declined 8.06% or 5.90 points to end at 67.30 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) shed 7.58% or 9.00 points to 109.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 254 to 40 and 17 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 3.30% or 2.52 to $73.79 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.92% or 2.32 to hit $77.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 5.15 to trade at $2,475.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 1.26% to 11.97, while USD/NOK rose 0.08% to 10.96.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.22% at 102.94.
