Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 1.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which rose 1.92% or 0.11 points to trade at 5.74 at the close. Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) added 1.24% or 1.70 points to end at 139.00 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) was up 0.77% or 0.08 points to 10.44 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which lost 7.44% or 47.50 points to trade at 591.00 in late trade. Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) declined 4.41% or 3.65 points to end at 79.20 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) shed 4.16% or 4.90 points to 113.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 198 to 91 and 18 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.15% or 0.11 to $73.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.21% or 0.16 to hit $77.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 20.30 to trade at $2,561.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.14% to 11.68, while USD/NOK fell 0.31% to 10.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 101.40.
