Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 1.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which rose 2.77% or 0.83 points to trade at 30.76 at the close. Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) added 0.37% or 0.2 points to end at 49.1 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was down 0.10% or 0.05 points to 50.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 5.56% or 0.95 points to trade at 16.15 in late trade. Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) declined 5.42% or 4.70 points to end at 82.05 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) shed 3.23% or 3.7 points to 110.7.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 136 to 41 and 17 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.51% or 0.25 to $48.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.52% or 0.27 to hit $51.63 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.24% or 3.08 to trade at $1293.18 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.28% to 9.3857, while USD/NOK fell 0.05% to 7.9466.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 93.06.
