Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.83% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which rose 1.60% or 9.50 points to trade at 605.00 at the close. DnB ASA (OL:DNB) added 1.38% or 2.80 points to end at 205.70 and Mowi ASA (OL:MOWI) was up 1.36% or 2.55 points to 189.45 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which lost 5.63% or 0.36 points to trade at 6.11 in late trade. Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) declined 4.65% or 42.50 points to end at 871.50 and TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) shed 4.07% or 4.90 points to 115.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 174 to 108 and 30 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.09% or 0.07 to $78.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $82.75 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.20% or 27.75 to trade at $2,345.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was unchanged 0.00% to 11.44, while USD/NOK rose 0.41% to 10.70.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 105.28.
