Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Auto & components and Technology Hardware & Equipment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.68%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Telenor ASA (OL:TEL), which rose 1.66% or 2.6 points to trade at 162.3 at the close. Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) fell 0.13% or 0.5 points to end at 382.8 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was down 0.27% or 0.8 points to 294.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 3.57% or 1.11 points to trade at 29.95 in late trade. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 3.24% or 1.80 points to end at 53.74 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) shed 2.89% or 0.02 points to 0.72.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 134 to 56 and 17 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.47% or 0.32 to $67.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.10% or 0.08 to hit $76.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1202.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.24% to 9.7653, while USD/NOK rose 0.22% to 8.4388.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 95.30.
