Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.66%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD), which rose 3.45% or 5.00 points to trade at 150.00 at the close. TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) added 1.62% or 2.10 points to end at 131.80 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was up 1.00% or 5.50 points to 558.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL), which lost 2.55% or 3.80 points to trade at 145.15 in late trade. Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) declined 2.16% or 6.50 points to end at 294.90 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) shed 2.01% or 2.20 points to 107.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 155 to 125 and 38 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.38% or 0.32 to $84.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.30% or 0.26 to hit $87.69 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 18.90 to trade at $2,388.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.13% to 11.44, while USD/NOK unchanged 0.03% to 10.57.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 104.69.
